First Step Family Therapy

My name is Jose Torres-Ramirez. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and President of First Step Family Therapy, specialized in trauma, couples, children's & adolescents. I have 5 years of experience and have been trained in multiple therapeutic modalities. For me, being a Therapist isn't a job, its a passion. My work plays and incredibly important role in the lives of couples, families and individuals. I take pride in leveraging my therapeutic and clinical skills to support patients in working through obstacles that hinder their interactions with others. Clinical Experience I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked in an agency setting, as well as, private practice setting, which has given me the tools to provide trauma informed therapy for a diverse range of clients. I strive to continue to learn to ensure that my clients in New Jersey are given the best therapy that I can provide.
